Betty Day, 91, of Westville passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2015 in LaPorte.  She was born May 10, 1923 in Winchester, Indiana to Leonard and Lena (Barker) Darrah. 
On July 13, 1940 in Muncie, Indiana she married Curtis Day who passed away June 12, 1998.  
Betty is survived by her children Darilyn (Jim) Wozniak of LaPorte, David Day of Michigan City, and Danny (Karen) Day of LaPorte. She also has seven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.  Her sister Virginia Foster of Wabash, Indiana and her sister-in-law Marjorie Darrah of Biloxi, Mississippi also survive her.
Preceding her in death are her parents, one brother, six sisters, and her daughter-in-law Connie.
Betty was a member of the Westville American Ladies Legion Auxiliary Post #21. 
Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Saturday, April 25th at the Newhard Funeral Home, 58 W. Walnut St. in Westville.  Rodney Nielsen will officiate.  Burial will be in Pinhook Cemetery. 
Visitation will be from 3-7 PM on Friday at the funeral home and from 10:00 AM until the time of services on Saturday.
