Charles Dahlia Campbell, Sr., 77, of Dyersburg, passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at his residence.

He was the retired owner of the Dyersburg Nationwide Insurance Company. He was a member, Deacon and Sunday School Teacher at Hillcrest Baptist Church. Charles was a Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow and a member of the College of Life Underwriters.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Hillcrest Baptist Church with the Rev. Don Layman officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Dyersburg Funeral Home and from 10-11 a.m. Friday at the church.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Pat Campbell of Dyersburg; a daughter, Melody Lott and husband, David, of Branson West, MO; two sons, Charles Campbell, Jr. and wife, Marie, and Michael Campbell and wife, Susan, all of Dyersburg; a brother, Kenneth Campbell of Cincinnati, OH; four grandchildren, David Lott, Jr., Wesley Lott, Taylor Campbell and Andy Campbell; and one great-granddaughter, Brooklyn Lott.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dahlia Dee "Buck" and Virginia Murriell McCormick Campbell.

Pallbearers will be Bryon Smith, Mike Kirk, David Lott, Jr., Wesley Lott, Taylor Campbell and Andy Campbell.

The family requests that memorials be directed to the Dyer County Community Cancer Fund, P.O. Box 1002, Dyersburg, TN 38025.
