Mrs. Juanita Ayer Bodiford Carroll, 80, of Route 2, died Saturday, July 5, 1997, at her daughter's residence.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Folk Funeral Home with Chaplain Mary Haddox and the Revs. Malcolm Carter and Rick Wade officiating. Burial will be in Barnwell Memorial Cemetery, Barnwell.
Mrs. Carroll, a native of Bamberg County, had retired from the Skyline Manufacturing Co. as a seamstress. She was a member of Long Branch Baptist Church, where she was in the Women's Missionary Union and the church choir, and taught the Junior Sunday School and Training Union Department. She also assisted in the Primary Department.
Survivors include six sons, Frank L. Bodiford and Floyd B. Bodiford, both of Williston, Clifton Carroll Sr. and Andrew Carroll Jr., both of Varnville, John H. Carroll, Hephzibah, and Jimmy-Byrnes Bodiford, Forrest City, N.C.; five daughters, Shirley B. Hutto, Williston, Brenda C. Creech, Barnwell, Mary-Ellen C. Stender, Columbus, Ga., Alice C. Cook, Denmark, and Gloria C. Kinard, Georgetown; two brothers, Sidney Ayer, Bamberg, and Louis-Martin Ayer, Olar; five sisters, Mary-Eleanor A. Brant and Nina A. Mitchell, both of Olar, Elma-Ruth A. Bodiford, Williston, Lula A. Morris, Sullivans Island, and Nellie-Marie A. Fisher, Charleston; and 44 grandchildren and 45 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
