Beulah Mae Timmons went to be with our Heavenly Lord on Thurdsay, April 9, 2015. She was born Beulah Mae Loar on July 26, 1926, the eleventh child of John Leo and Grace Mae Loar’s thirteen children.
She was born and raised on the family farm on Hoover Avenue in Beaverton, MI, where she spent the majority of her life. In 1943, Beulah Loar married Daniel Muma and had two beautiful children, James and Joanne Muma, before her husband preceded her in death in October 1946.
In 1950, Beulah married Thomas E. Timmons, originally from Poplar Bluff, MS, and they enjoyed over 40 years together before he preceded her in death on Sept. 18, 1996. Beulah Timmons was a member of the Church of Daniel’s Band on Bard Road in Beaverton, where she faithfully attended services for more than 35 years. She was a Godly woman, who will be missed by all who knew her.
Beulah is survived by her children: James (Elizabeth) Muma; Joanne (Earl) Hayes, both of Beaverton; two of her siblings: Ruth Brown of Gladwin; Basil (Dorothy) Loar also of Beaverton; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by two husbands; her many siblings: Clayton and Zelma Loar in 1912; Mable (Virgil) Newman; Gertrude (Ocindo) Cingano; Leo (Bernadine) Loar; Robert (Jane) Loar; Williard (Orpha) Loar; Wilbur (Grace) Loar; Clinton V. Loar; Donna Jean (J.D.) Brewer. Two of her grandsons also went to Heaven before Beulah: David Muma and Daniel Muma.
Funeral Services were conducted by Rev. Randy Govitz on Sunday, April 12,2015, 1 p.m. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Beaverton, MI. The family was present to greet family and friends on Sunday, April 12, 2015 from 11 a.m. until the time of service.
She will join her husband in her final resting place at Arthur Twp. Cemetery, Clare, MI. Those wishing to send an expression of sympathy in lieu of flowers are asked to consider the Church of Daniel’s Band, Beaverton, MI
