"Resolutions Passed by the M. E. Church of Kickapoo. WHEREAS: God in his wisdom has taken from us our dear beloved sister and much loved friend, Benna Atkinson.
Be it resolved therefore that we extend our heart felt and deepest sympathy to her mother, brothers and sisters, and feel that their loss is our loss, their sorrow our sorrow. We feel she will be greatly missed in the community, church and family, but we have the consolating evidence that she is at rest in Jesus, that she is transplanted to the paradise above to bloom forever and ever."
