Janice is survived by two sons, Christopher (Evelyn) Thornton of Mesa, AZ and Chet (Donna) Thornton of Litchfield, MI; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; one brother, Lavern; two sisters, Roberta (Maples) and Dorothy (Van Buskirk); a companion Bill Warner and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in passing by her parents; her husband Walter Thornton; one son Curtis Thornton; two brothers, I.K. Jr. and Ronald Thornton and one sister, Norma (Brown).
