Mary Lewandowski, 69, of Rib Mountain passed away on Friday, April 17, 2015 at UW Hospital, Madison surrounded by her loving family.

She was born September 20, 1945 in Portage to the late Robert and Hazel (Neugart) Machan. Mary grew up on the family dairy farm in Coloma and was a graduate of Adams Friendship High School. Mary met her future husband, Bill Lewandowski of Stevens Point while they both worked at St. Michael's Hospital in Stevens Point. On May 18, 1968 they were married at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Adams. Mary had worked at Howard Johnson's in Rib Mountain and later retired as a bookkeeper from Midway Motor Lodge. She was an active member of the Church of St. Anne where she was Eucharistic Minister and Lenten Fish Fry volunteer coordinator for nine years. Her hobbies included sewing, reading, crocheting afghans, baking and bowling. She loved working in her garden and around the yard. Mary almost never missed the Price is Right while curled up with her dog, Sundance. Her favorite pastime was taking care of her family and spoiling her granddaughters.
