Funeral Services for Floyd Edward Jeffcote, 85, of Groveton, Texas will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, April 24, 2015 in the Cartwright Memorial Chapel of Groveton Funeral Home with Bro. Lester McAdams officiating. Interment will follow the services in East Prairie Cemetery
Mr. Jeffcote was born on August 23, 1929 in Cut-n-Shoot, Texas to the late Elige and Alice (Daughtery) Jeffcote and went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, April 18, 2015 in Lufkin, Texas. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and in his later years he made his working career as a machinist. Floyd was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, son and a friend to many. He loved being able to spend quality time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed wood-working and spending time working on other projects in his shop. He also enjoyed being out on his tractor.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Elige and Alice Jeffcote; daughter, Kelly Ann Collier; two sisters, Rebbie Jahos and Jessie Bashera; and two brothers, Aubrey Jeffcote and Richard Jeffcote.
