The Cleveland Baseball Co was sued for $60,000 in Common Pleas Court yesterday by the widow of a Clevelander whose death, it was alleged, was caused by injuries suffered when he fell at the stadium at the June 12 double-header with New York.
Mrs Elva T Curry, 1854 E 19th Street, charged her husband, Harry Robert Curry, 54, slipped on paper cups and other debris in an isle and fell headlong down concrete steps in the stands. He died July 10.
