Mr. Ballenger was born November 8, 1920 in Melrose, Kansas to Thornton Edward and Jennie (Whittle) Ballenger.
He served in the United State Navy and is a Veteran of World War II. He worked for Transcon Truck Lines for many years until his retirement. He was married to Juanita Dial in Durango, Colorado on September 5, 1961. He was a member of Paoli Pentecostal Church.
Mr. Ballenger was preceded in death by his parents, Thornton Edward and Jennie Ballenger; and six brothers and three sisters.
Surviving family include his wife, Juanita Ballenger of the home; children, Edward Allen Ballenger of Midwest City; Donald Mack Ballenger of Moore; Dennis Eugene Ballenger of Pauls Valley; Deborah Alice Goodman of Norman; and Marsha Ann Dahlenburg of Oklahoma City; eleven grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren;l and step daughter, Jean Haffner of Minco.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at 10:30 am at Paoli Pentecostal Church officiated by Rev. Terry Erwin. Interment will be at 2:30 pm at Sunnylane Cemetery in Del City. Interment and professional services are under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home
