George F. Wright, 237 N. 2nd St., Lehighton, died suddenly at noon Thursday at his home.
Born at Laceyville, he was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Horace Wright. He was employed by the Lehigh Valley Railroad Co. for many years, but retired as a signal maintenance man in 1946. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Lehighton.

Surviving is his wife, the former Miss Hilda A. Beers; a son Norman and daughter Dorothy, at home: two daughters Enda, wife of John Yokubinas, Maryland; Eleanor, wife of Hugh Hall, Mantzviled; three brothers, Horace at Nicholson; Romane at Bloomsburg and Edward at Easton; sister, Mrs. Carl West at Dover, Del There are five gandchildren
