David C Huskey, 70, of Lenoir, passed away Thursday, December 20, 2012 at his residence.
Mr. Huskey was born in Madisonville, Tennessee to the late Jesse Huskey and Jessie Moore Huskey. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Harley Huskey, Mayford Huskey, JD Huskey; and a nephew, Danny Ray Huskey.
Survivors include his daughter, Sherry Simmons of Gulf Shores, Alabama; granddaughter, Brittany Tipple; grandsons, Adrian Tipple, Bryan Tipple, Nolan Simmons and Nathaniel Simmons of Gulf Shores, Alabama; great grandchildren, Connor Tipple and Tegan Cook of gulf Shores, Alabama; brothers, Edward Huskey and Creed Huskey of Lenoir; sisters, Patricia Huskey Hairfield of Lenoir, Helen Gauardo of Lenior, and Shirley Pritchard of Lenoir.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, December 23, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. in Pendry's Chapel with Reverend Boyd Whisnant officiating and speaker John Cole. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Pendry's Lenoir Funeral Home.
