Mr. Palmer was born May 24, 1916, at Edelstein, Ill., the son of Benjamin and Flossie Minnig Palmer. He married Doris Larimore on May 7, 1943, at Arcadia, Calif. She preceded him in death.
He was Vice-President of National Accounts for the International Paper Co.
Mr. Palmer was an Army Veteran of WW2, a 1st Sergeant in the Military Police in the Intelligence and Security Division.
He was active with the Boy Scouts of America.
Surviving are one son, Dr. Ronald (Kathleen) Palmer and one daughter, Barbara Palmer.
He was preceded in death by one son, Dr. Gerald Palmer and one brother.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
