SAMUEL M. LYNN

A former resident of Roaring Spring and a retired employe of the D.M. Bare company, died suddenly of a heart ailment on Saturday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Clayton Bertram, at South Lakemont. He was born on Jan. 21, 1848, in North Woodbury township, a son of John and Elizabeth Lynn, and on Feb. 9, 1871, was united in marriage with Esther Shoenfelt of Roaring Spring. Surviving are his wife, one son and two daughters, George C. Lynn of the city, Mrs. Robert Martin of Sandy Ridge and Mrs. Clayton Bertram of South Lakemont; one step-son, John H. Butler of the city; one brother and one sister, George Lynn and Mrs. Jane Giert, both of Bellwood, twelve grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Mr. Lynn was a member of St. John's Reformed church of Roaring Spring where funeral services will be held at 2.30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon. The body may be viewed at the church from 10 o'clock tomorrow morning until the hour of the funeral.
