BETTY JO MELTON, 64, of Cordova, formerly of Greenfield, Tenn., homemaker, died of respiratory failure Monday at the Memphis Jewish Home. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. today at Gearins Chapel Cemetery in Greenfield. Williams Funeral Home in Greenfield has charge. She was a member of Gearins Chapel. Mrs. Melton, the widow of William H. Melton, leaves a daughter, Joy Cupples of Chicago; two sons, William David Melton of Cordova and Harold Steve Melton of Greenfield, and six grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to the Memphis Jewish Home in Cordova or the Alzheimer's Association.
