BLACK, Mary Ledford Age 69 of Hamilton, passed away Friday July 20, 2007 at the Ft. Hamilton Hospital. She was born on July 7, 1938 in Hamilton, the daughter of the late Alfred and Georgia (Mobley) Darling. Mary had previously worked as a nurse's aid at Tri County Extended Care and was a member of New Testament Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband Neil Black of Hamilton; daughters, Nancy (Richard) Bach of Somerville, Debra (Randy) Henderson of Trenton, Bonnie (Jeff) Baker of Hamilton, Donna (Danny) Brunner of Hamilton, Nollie (Gary) Cook of Morrow and stepdaughter Neilina Black of London, Kentucky; ten grandchildren, Jason, Jarod, and Jacob Bach, Kyle and Doug Henderson, Jeffery Baker, Shawntae Romanello, Ray and Danielle Brunner and Mary Cook; four great-grandchildren, Gavin and Conner Bach, Baylen Romanello and Johnna Hill; two sisters, Florence Callahan of Hamilton and Nancy Herd of Bishop, Georgia; nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her first husband Roy Ledford in 1976 and a brother John Darling. The family would like to send a special thanks to all the physicians and staff of Ft. Hamilton for their loving care and support. Funeral service will be held at 1:00p.m. on Tuesday July 24, 2007 at The Webb Noonan Funeral Home with Pastor Lamon Hubbs and Pastor Ron Small officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held on Monday from 6:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. at the funeral Home.
