J.W. Fleming, aged 90, passed away peacefully on April 13, 2015, at his home in Tucson, AZ, surrounded by much of his family and his three loyal dogs.

He was a decorated combat veteran of WWII, earning the Combat Infantryman Badge, Bronze Star Medal, and two Purple Heart medals fighting in the Philippine Islands with the 40th Infantry Division. He is survived by his older brother, Finis Fleming of Tucson; and his three children, Charles (Sheilah) Fleming of Paulden, AZ, Linda (Jack) Pennington of Vail, AZ, and Barbara Austen of Tucson. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-granddaughters.
