Ellinor went to be with Jesus after a long life of 91 years. She was born third of four children to Nebraska school teacher's Grace and Lindell Hockett. She was raised in Grand Junction where she met and married Henry A. Cross. They spent their 51 years of married life in Loveland. Here they raised four children, were involved in their church and community. After Henry died in 1991, Ellinor remained active in Galilee Baptist Church, traveled, and enjoyed her many friends as well as her large extended family. In 2006 she moved to Colorado Springs to live with her daughter and finally into assisted living in 2008. She enjoyed rides in the car and worked her puzzle books to the end. She is survived by her brother, Bob; two children: daughter Martha Barksdale of Colorado Springs and son Albert Cross of Loveland; many grandchildren, great- grands, great great-grands, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, two siblings sister Mary and brother Bill and two sons David and Edwin. Memorial service will be Sun, Nov. 25th at 1:00 p.m. at Beggars' Gate Church, 122 West 29th St, Loveland, CO. In lieu of flowers, please send memorials to Beggar's Gate church or a charity of your choice.--Loveland Reporter-Herald, Nov. 21, 2012
