Death of Mrs.
Alice Helen Hadaway
Monday

Mrs. Alice Helen Hadaway died at her home in Lanett Monday at 3 p.m. after an illness of several weeks. Mrs. Hadaway was the mother of nine children. Her life was one of usefulness and loving service to her family and neighbors. She was a devout Christian, having been a member of the Bethlehem church at Glass, Ala. for many years.

Mrs. Hadaway is survived by her husband and nine children; two brothers, one sister. There are also fifty-eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren to mourn her passing.

Funeral services were held at Bethlehem Church, Glass, Ala. at 10 a.m. Wednesday, the pastor Rev. Mr. Shumaker being assisted by rev. L. H Wright. Interment was in the churchyard cemetery. Johnson and Blakely, funeral directors in charge.
