Glendon R. Archer, 90, of Rockville, formerly of Plainfield, passed away April 13, 2015. He was born March 22, 1925 to the late Albert and Edith (Crow) Archer in Hendricks County, IN. He was an US Navy veteran of WWII. He was a jeweler for over 60 years. He co-owned Westside Jewel Box for 20 years. He was a member of the Plainfield F.O.E #3207, the VFW in Crawfordsville and the AmVets #0099 in Indianapolis. Glendon is survived by his wife, Rachel C. (Figg) Archer; a son, Glen A. Archer; four daughters, Glenda Sue (Tom) Jackson, Joyce Ellen (Gerald) McCombs, Carol Jean (Dave) Portish, and Gail L. Archer; 12 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren.
