Excerpt--age 97, of Tunnelton, died Sept. 12, 1999 in Heartland of Preston Co. He was born Oct. 16, 1901 in Tunnelton, s/o the late Charles A. and Anna M. Knotts Bohon. He was retired from Haskiell Luella Jean Coal Co. He is survived by a son and spouse, Arthur Carl and Judy Bohon of Geneva, Ohio; a daughter-in-law, Adalake Bohon of Zephyrhillis, Fl.; a niece, Opal Watson of Birmingham, AL.; five grandchildren, Carolyn Lantz, Marty and Jack Plum, and Larry and Nancy Keener, all of Denver, Janet Kay and Jay Cottle of Warren, Ohio, and Connie and Marvin McKinney of Vinton, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his wife, Beatrice Ethel Bolyard Bohon; two daughters, Catherine Marie Bohon Keener and Evelyn Gay Bohon Hess; a son, Paul Raymond Bohon; four brothers, Walter B. Bohon, Jesse H. Bohon, Holbert D. Bohon and Harvey Bohon; and two sisters, Maude A. Bohon Glendening and Pearl Bohon. Burial was in the Shaw Cemetery, Denver.
