Samuel D Van Kirk 72, of 23 ORCHARD Park died Wed. at Newark-Wayne Community Hospital. Mr. Van Kirk had been employed by New York state Electric & Gas for 42 years. He had been stationed in Elmira, Binghamton and Geneva. He was operating superintendent of the Northeast Region at retirement. He was a member of the Quarter Century Club and Past member of the Elks and Lions Club and Clifton Springs Country Club. Survivors are his wife Mary; two daughters, Geraldine LaBour of Phelps, New York and Constance Ryan of Oswego; one sone, Richard of Phoenix, AZ; and a brother, Alton Van Kirk of Mesa AZ 11 Grand children and six great grandchildren. Burial will be at the St Francis Cemetery.
