Damien Alan Durand, 18, returned to his Heavenly Father on March 10, 2015, in Layton, Utah. Damien was born on March 4, 1997, in Cedar City to Kimberly Lee and Paul Durand.
Damien attended schools in Cedar City during most of his high school years. At the time of his passing, he was living in Layton, where he had nearly completed the requirements for his high school diploma. He had planned to further his education and become a welder.
Damien was loved by a wide circle of family and friends, and he will be especially remembered for his wit, wisdom, and kindness.
Damien is survived by his parents, Kimberly Lee Vaughn, Layton, and Paul Durand, Cedar City; his brothers, Tristan, Ryker, and Jonah; grandparents David and Judy Lee, Kanab; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Damien will be memorialized in Cedar City on Saturday, March 28.
