Thomas J. Allen, 71, Bison, Kansas, died Friday, April 10, 2015, at Locust Grove Village, La Crosse, Kansas.
Mr. Allen was born September 10, 1943, in Larned, Kansas, the son of Clifford L. and Juanita (Rothe) Allen. He was a lifelong resident of Rush County, Kansas. He was a 1961 graduate of Bison High School, Bison, Kansas. As a heavy equipment operator he was employed by Rush County, and construction companies in Great Bend, Kansas. On April 23, 1968, he married Nancy A. Doerr at Hoxie, Kansas.
Survivors include: his wife, Nancy A. Allen, Bison, Kansas; two sons, Clifford W. Allen, Bison, Kansas, and Aaron G. Allen, Oakmont, Pennsylvania; two daughters, Brenda S. Allen, Bison, Kansas, and Jessie J. Cody, Great Bend, Kansas; ten grandchildren, Kimberly (Terry) Sparks, Timken, Kansas, Cliff Allen (Abbie), Timken, Kansas, Ashley Doyle, Otis, Kansas, Zach Otto, Otis, Kansas, Nathan Cody, Great Bend, Kansas, Ivy Cody, Great Bend, Kansas, Cordell Cody, Bison, Kansas, and Rose Cody, Bison, Kansas; two great grandchildren, Destiny Doyle, Otis, Kansas, and Kaylie Sparks, Timken, Kansas; and one former daughter in law, Brenda (Tony) Otto, Otis, Kansas.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
