Alfred Daryl Albert, 68, of 2330 2nd St., Radford, died Wednesday morning in the Veterans Administration Medical Center, Salem, Va. Born July 22, 1922 in Giles County, he was the son of the late Philip Authur Albert and Lula Pearl Anderson Albert. He was a member of the Pentecostal Holiness, Church, Pulaski. He was a retired employee for the H,T. Boiling Construction Company, Radford. He was a World War II Veteran having served in the United States Army. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Jones. Surviving are, his wife, Fannie Agnes Stoots Albert; four daughters, Mrs. Donald (Patty) Duncan, Mrs. Richard (Diane) Turpin, both of Radford, Miss Virginia Lee Albert, Christiansburg, Mrs. Eddie (Kathy) Spraker, Wytheville; one son, Alfred Martin Albert, Radford; two sisters, Mrs. Irene Stoots, Pulaski, Mrs. Ernestine Moore, Radford; 10 grandchildren. Funeral service will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Bower Funeral Chapel, Pulaski, with the Rev. C.R. Conner officiating. Interment will follow in the Oakwood Cemetery, Pulaski. Visiting will be anytime Friday with the family receiving friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday evening at the Bower Funeral Chapel, Pulaski. Full Military Honors will be conducted by the Grover King Post #1115, of Hillsville. Bower Funeral Chapel, 1631 Bob White Boulevard, Pulaski, is handling the arrangements.
