Elizabeth was the daughter of James and Ann Reeves McMillan. Elizabeth was born In Ireland, she and her family arrived in South Carolina in the 1820's , Her father died in 1821 in South Carolina. Ann McMillan , her children and other families traveled to Boligee Greene County Alabama, Then to Robertson/Brazos County Texas, where they settled. Elizabeth and Hugh Henry were married November 3, 1831 in Boligee,Greene County Alabama and settled in Robertson County Texas. They had three children: William H. Henry, Ann Jane Henry Fullerton and Hugh Henry Jr. Hugh Sr was killed by Indians January16, 1839 near Marlin, Falls Texas. Elizabeth Married James D, Young in 1848 and they had twin daughters Oct 19, 1851. Elizabeth died the day after from complications of childbirth. It has been reported that Elizabeth was buried beside Hugh Henry and their son Hugh Henry Jr. (b 1837-d.1839). This memorial was created to preserve the history and information for Elizabeth for future generations.
