Andrew Lewis “Andy” Stack, Jr., 62 of Cope died Thursday, April 9, 2015 at his residence.

He was the son of Lena Myers Stack and the late Andrew Louis Stack. He served in the U. S. Army and was a member of Canaan Baptist Church and a former employee of Mercer Transportation. He is preceded in death by a brother, Johnny Martin Stack and his beloved grandfather, Johnny Lever Myers.

Survivors include his wife; Rewa Crawford Stack of Cope; 2 sons; Nathan Stack (Cady) of Cope and Aaron Stack of Cope; his Mother; Lena M. Stack of Cope; sisters; Jeania (Tim) Jeffcoat of Orangeburg; Dale (Roger) Kittrell of Cope; brothers; Lynn (Terry) Stack of Eutawville; Wayne (Lisa) Stack of Cope and a special pet; Biscuit and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held 3 PM on Sunday, April 12, 2015 at Canaan Baptist Church in Cope with burial in the church cemetery with Rev. Odell Breland, Rev. Alan Woodward and Rev. Billy Williams officiating. The family received friends from 2 to 3 PM at the church before the service.
Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg assisted the family.

Pallbearers were Mike Kittrell, Robert Chitty, Tanner Stack, Hank McCollum, Bobby Wiles, Buddy Myers and Rick Thornburg. Honorary pallbearers were Lee Goodwin, Eddie Proveaux, Bubba Thompson and Betty McMichael.

Friends may call at the residence of his mother, Lena Stack, 1851 Snake Swamp Road, Cope or at his residence or at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Andy's memory to Thompson Funeral Home, Inc., 1012 Whitman Street, Orangeburg, SC 29115.
