SPRING GARDEN TWP. Jack W. Hess, 78, died at 7:45 p.m. Saturday, April 11, 2015, at Manor Care Health Services South. He was the husband of the late Peggy L. (Fantom) Hess, who died April 4th. Born October 25, 1936, in York, he was the only child of the late John and Jennie (Hartman) Hess. He was retired from Schaefer Wholesale Florist, and was a member of the Viking Athletic Association. Mr. Hess is survived by a daughter, Donna M. Senft, and her husband Greg, of York; a stepdaughter, Mindy B. Parks, and her husband Matt, of York; two stepsons, S. Ronald Parks, and his wife Jean, of Harrisburg, and Scott R. Parks, of York; two grandchildren, Katelyn and Haley Senft; two step grandchildren, Dylon and Ian Parks; and a step great-grandson, Ethan. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday at Kuhner Associates Funeral Directors, Inc., 863 S. George St., York. Visitation will be 1:30 to 2:00 p.m. Entombment will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.
