Birdie Stewardson, 95, of San Saba died Saturday, Aug. 22, 1998, in Brownwood. Service will be at 2 p.m. today in Howell-Doran Funeral Home Chapel with burial in San Saba City Cemetery. She was born April 9, 1903, in Coleman County and had lived in San Saba since 1946. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.
Survivors include two sons, J.L. Stewardson and Boyd Stewardson, both of San Saba; two daughters, Elizabeth Barker of San Saba and Frances Skiles of Weatherford; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; a great-great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
