Wallace J. Armstrong, 45, of Kinder, La., formerly of Sycamore, died suddenly May 8, 1972 at Kinder.

Mr. Armstrong was born Jan. 19, 1927 at Leigh, Neb., the son of Clarence and Martha Siebrasse Armstrong. He operated a motel and restaurant in Kinder.

He was a member of the Sycamore VFW 5768 and the United Methodist Church in Sycamore.

He is survived by three children, Beth, David and Lorie, all of Sycamore; his mother, Mrs. Martha Armstrong of Stanton, Neb.; two sisters, Mrs. Pearl Lefavor, Norfolk, Neb. and Mrs.Dorothy Von Seggern, Pasco, Wash.; and two brothers, LaVern Armstrong of Sycamore and Charles Armstrong of Fremont, Neb.

The funeral service is at 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 11 at the Van Natta Funeral Home with the Rev. Harold M. Kelley officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood cemetery in Sycamore. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday.
