Peter Boyer Dies At Rest Home Here

Peter Boyer, formerly of 634 E. Twelfth, died Tuesday at a local rest home, where he had been cared for for the past two years.

Mr. Boyer, son of Chris and Christina Boyer, was born Jan. 31, 1865, and was 91 years of age at the time of his death. He was a member of the First Congregational church. His first wife, Elizabeth, whom he married in 1885, died in 1921, and his second wife died in 1945. He had resided here for 60 years, and was a retired farmer and sugar beet grower.

The deceased is survived by the following children: Jake Boyer, Peter Boyer, Phillip Boyer, and Mrs. Frank P. Jesser, all of Fort Collins; Mrs. Paul Barnes of Loveland and Gordon Boyer of Eaton. Two children died in infancy.

A daughter, Mrs. Pete Kercher, died in 1946. In addition, there were 113 survivors, including 31 grandchildren, 69 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren.--Loveland Reporter-Herald
