W.H. Chadwick, of the Las Posas, Passes Away
While Dr. Floyd J. Swift of this city was hurrying in answer to a phone call that W.H. Chadwick of the Las Posas was in a critical condition early this morning, the latter died before the doctor could reach him. He passed away at 8 o'clock of chronic heart disease.
According to Dr. Swift, Mr. Chadwick had been under medical care for some time and had been failing for the past few days. His death was not altogether unexpected.
Mr. Chadwick was a well known rancher in the Las Posas locality, living back in the foothills near Somis. He is survived by a wife and step-daughter. No funeral arrangements had been made late today.
