A recent issue of the Courier reported the death of Miss Dora Taylor in California. Some additional information is included in a later report.
Dora O. Taylor was born March 6, 1868 in Seneca, Kansas and passed away March 18, 1954 at her home in Pasadena, California.
She was the daughter of Mary L. and James P. Taylor. She taught in the Seneca schools for several years, then was associated with her brother-in-law, J. E. Stilwell in the First National Bank in Seneca until she moved to South Pasadena, California, in 1906.
She had been in ill health for a year or so due to a broken hip, and passed away from a heart attack.
Mrs. Arthur Campbell of Centralia, Kansas, and Guy O. Taylor of Washington D. C. were a sister and brother who preceded her in death. She leaves two sisters, Mrs. J. E. Stilwell of 1121 Mound Avenue, South Pasadena, Calif., and Mrs. E. M. Collins of Banner, Wyoming.
A service was held at the Turner, Stevens and Eggleston Funeral Home in South Pasadena on March 20. Cremation followed, according to her wish, and the ashes are to be placed in the family lot in the Seneca cemetery by the Lauer Funeral Home.

Later: Graveside service will be held at 2:30 Sunday afternoon at the Seneca cemetery, the Lauer Funeral Home announces.
