Elmer F. Maucher, 88, passed away Thursday, April 9, 2015, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. Born in Harrison, OH, Elmer was president and owner of Allen Business Machines. He was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church; former member of West Creighton Ave. Christian Church; past district governor and member of McMillen Park Lions Club. He was a US Navy veteran of WW II and Korea, serving aboard the USS Delta AR9. Surviving are his sons, Dan (Terri) Maucher of Fort Wayne and Mark (Cyndy) Maucher of Hoagland; grandchildren, Luke, Chelsea & Lesley Maucher, Lynsey (Austin) Meyer; sister, Betty Gulley of Harrison, OH. He was preceded in death by wife, Alene "Daisy" Maucher; parents, Elmer F. & Lorene (Wright) Maucher; and brothers, Glen, Lloyd & Gene Maucher. Service is 11 a.m. Monday, April 13, 2015, at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 2417 Getz Road, with calling one hour prior. Dr. Derek Weber officiating. Calling also from 1-5 p.m. Sunday, April 12, 2015, at D.O. McComb & Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Road. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
