Mr. Robert Earl Young, age 60, of Blue Ridge, Georgia passed away on Friday, April 10, 2015 at his home. Mr. Young was born on October 13, 1954 in Blue Ridge, Georgia to Johnny Robert and Bernice (Stanley) Young. He owned and operated Young's Produce. He was a member of Blue Ridge Church of Christ.
He is preceded in death by his father Johnny Robert Young.
Surviving Mr. Young are one son, his mother, one grandson, a brother, three nieces and a nephew. A host of other relatives and friends also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, April 13, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. from the Akins Funeral Home Chapel in Blue Ridge, Georgia with Minister Lonnie Jones officiating. Interment will follow in Stanley Creek Church of Christ Cemetery in Blue Ridge, Georgia. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, April 12, 2015 after 1:00 p.m. but especially from 5:00-9:00 p.m. Akins Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, Georgia is in charge of the arrangements.
