LOUIS D. COFFEE, 77, died Monday, Feb. 6, 2006, at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne.
Born in Decatur, he was a printer with Keefer Printing for 20 years, retiring in 1993. A Korean War Army Veteran and avid Notre Dame fan, he enjoyed golf, loved his family and friends, and was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.
Survivors include sons, Bret Coffee of Odessa, Texas, Jon (Sandy) Coffee of Fort Wayne, Tim Coffee of Stevensville, Mich., Eric (Karen) Coffee of Westminster, Colo. and Kevin Coffee of Fort Wayne; daughter, Leigh Ann Coffee of Columbia City; brothers, Fred and Gary (Jane) Coffee, both of Fort Wayne; sister-in-law, Sandy Coffee; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia A. Coffee, in 1997; sister, Phyllis Eichorn; brother, Tom Coffee; and sister-in- law, Patricia E. Coffee.
Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 4916 Trier Road, Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior. Msgr John N. Suelzer officiating. Calling is from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at D.O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road, with vigil at 4:30 p.m. Thursday.
