Born at Sherman Texas to Thomas Stone Clyce & Mayde Perrin.
She died in an airplane barnstorming accident, evidently fell from the airplane. She died at Graham in Young County Texas.


Edmonia Elizabeth “Betty” Clyce was one of three persons who were riding in an airplane with the plane lost engine power and fell 30 feet crashing in the edge of the Brazos River in Devil's Canyon, two miles south of Graham, Texas.

Miss Edmonia Elizabeth “Betty” Clyce, 22, was alive when taken from the wreckage but died two hours later in the Graham hospital.

Eyewitnesses to the tragedy said the plane had been taking up passengers on trips all during the day. Three individuals, Miss Clyce, Welch Curtis and Joe Morrison were killed in the accident.

Miss Clyde had been the guest of Miss Lucille Morrison.
