She was a lifelong resident of Hawkins County and was a member of Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by a son, Ivus Brooks, in 1936.
Surviving are her husband, Hubert (Ebbie) Brooks; daughters, Mrs. Mack (Irene) Brooks, Mrs. J.L. (Peg) Long, Mrs. Robert (Marlene) Brooks, and Mrs. Danny (Vivian) Vaughn, all of Rogersville; son, Ueal Brooks, Rogersville; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
Burial was in Highland Cemetery.
