Irving Eugene SangreyGreat Falls —Irving Eugene Sangrey, 68, of Great Falls, passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at his residence. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 10, from 2-8pm in the Sunset Room at Croxford Funeral Home. The funeral service will take place at the same location but in the Rose Room Chapel on Saturday, April 11, at 11:00 a.m. with a graveside service to follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Irving was born on February 16, 1947 in Havre, MT to parents Irvin and Lucy Sangrey. He attended Franklin Elementary School and later finished at West Jr. High. In 1970 Irving married Sue Pate with whom he was blessed with 3 sons. Although they divorced 4 years later, Irving remained a staple figure in their lives. As a young man, Irving worked as a farm laborer until his early 20's when he made the switch to construction, doing general labor and concrete finishing. He found this far more enjoyable and continued this line of work throughout his life, until retirement. In the spare time he had between his job and his beloved family, Irving found a real enjoyment for general mechanics, classic cars, and of course, playing guitar, something he did quite regularly. He is survived by his father Irvin; sons, Kavin Morsette, Eugene Darrel Sangrey, Daniel Joseph Sangrey; sisters, Shirley Sangrey, Helen Belcourt, Rose Sangrey, Linda Raya, Lorraine Sangrey, Sylvia Sangrey; brothers, Daniel A. Sangrey, Peter J. Sangrey and 5 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his dear mother Lucy Sangrey.
