A native of Hiddenite, N.C., she was the daughter of George Glover Lael and Leola Stevenson Lael.
Preceded in death by her parents, she is survived by three daughters, Sandra Sue Giles (Harold) of Midway, Pollyanne Morris (Lew) of Estill, S.C., and Delores Floyd, of Midway; three sons, Michael Handy (Sue) of Eden, Danny Handy (Viktoriya) of Cochran, and Bobby Handy of Midway; 16 grandchildren, several great and great-great grandchildren; and a brother, Jimmy Rogers Lael of Chester, Va.
The family will receive friends Friday, March 20 from 10-11 a.m. at Families First Funeral Care. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. from Families First Funeral Care, with Rev. Kenny Harrelson officiating. Interment - Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park, West.
