Florence E. Aimone, 91, died at her home in Robertson on April 8.

She was born Oct. 28, 1923, in Yakima, Wash., the daughter of Ida E. Gourley and James S. Goodrick.

She married Fred R. Aimone Nov. 1, 1941, in Salt Lake City, Utah. They had a daughter, Elizabeth Ann Aimone. She married Clarke Beman Jr. Florence, along with her husband, raised their three grand-children after they lost their parents in a tragic accident in 1973.

In May 1975, Fred and Florence moved to their ranch in Robertson, where she still resided.

Florence and Fred were well known in Uinta County for the annual spaghetti dinners they prepared and served at the Catholic Church in Evanston during Cowboy Days for 14 years.

After the death of her beloved husband in 2009, Florence continued to live on the ranch where her grandson Don Beman still lives and took good care of “grandma.”

She is survived by her grandson, Don and his wife Stephanie; two beautiful great-granddaughters, Trinity and Kiara Beman, whom she loved dearly; granddaughters: Dawn Marie Nielsen and her husband Larry of Roy, Utah; and Elizabeth Reed and her husband Robert Reed; and great-granddaughter, Kassidy Davis.
