LLOYD HAROLD SHOUSE
---Lloyd Harold Shouse, age 60, of Moberly, passed away suddenly of a heart attack Thursday afternoon March 29, 1979, at 3:50. The son of Zack and Jeanette (Hutchins) Shouse, he was born October 9, 1918, in the Star neighborhood east of LaPlata.
---In December of 1945, in LaPlata, he was married to Jane Clem. To this union three children were born; Larry of Woodstock, Illinois, Mrs. John (Caroline) Coates of Monroe City, and Ricky of the home. Also three grandsons survive.
---Also surviving are two sisters and three brothers; Mrs. Claud (Margaret) Bledsoe of Moberly, Merrill Shouse of Greentop, Leland Shouse of LaPlata, Mrs. Earnest (Isadore) Young of LaPlata, and Marion Shouse of Nekoosa, Wisconsin. Also several neices and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant sister.
---He served five years with the United States Army during World War II.
---Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon, April 1, 1979, at 1:30 at the Cater Funeral Home with the Rev. Ben Humphery, pastor of the LaPlata Baptist Church, conducting the services.
---Burial was in the LaPlata Cemetery.
