He was the former owner and operator of Fashion Floors, Inc. and had worked as a salesman in Salisbury and Berlin. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who enjoyed antique tractors, tools and collectibles.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years,: five children, daughter and her husband, of Salisbury, son and his wife, of Salisbury, son and his wife, of Salisbury, daughter of Wilmington, DE and daughter of Madison, WI; son-in-law of Salisbury; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.
A memorial service will be held Thursday at 8 p.m. at Bounds Funeral Home on East Main Street in Salisbury, where friends may call one hour prior to the service. Rev. Donald Bauer and Deacon Stephen Kuczman will officiate. Interment will be held at 11 a.m. at Springhill Memory Gardens in Hebron.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, Eastern Shore District Office, 114 Baptist Street, Salisbury, MD 21801 or the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 5216, Gen Allen, VA 23058-5216.
