Mrs. Staggers had spent all of her life in the Waynesburg community
and she was a member of the First Baptist Church at Waynesburg.
She graduated form Waynesburg high school with the class of 1935.
She is survived by her mother, Adalyn Meighen Thomas of Washington;
her husband, Herbert R. Staggers, whom she married February 11, 1939;
four daughter, Mrs. Robert "Carolyn" Anderson of Reston, Va.; Mrs.
David "Peggy" Metzger, Sarah and Donna Staggers, all of
Charlottesville, Va.; two sons, Richard of Big Spring, Texas, Ralph
of Butler; two granddaughters, Susan and Melissa; one grandson,
Scott; one sister, Lois Develine of Washington and one brother,
Donald Meighen of Washington.
