Below is the obituary for Raymond "Buck" Hyser.



Raymond Marshall "Buck" Hyser Sr., 82, of Hudson, Ohio, beloved husband of Geraldine (Nee King) Hyser, loving father of Raymond M. "Skip" (Pam) Hyser Jr., Heidi (Bernd) Zirkl and Keith B. Hyser, dear grandfather of Kelsey, Raymond M. III and Christopher Hyser and Alexander and Mackenzie Zirkl, brother of the late Christopher, James, Howard and Paul Hyser, dear son of the late Christopher and Jesse (Nee Campbell) Hyser, died Monday, Oct, 10, 2005.
Mr. Hyser served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII in the European Theater. Mr. Hyser received his BS degree in 1950 from Kent State University and his MS degree in 1972 from the University of Akron. He was a teacher and athletic director at the Hudson High School for 32 years.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution may be made to the Ray Hyser Scholarship Fund, c/o The Hudson City Schools Endowment Fund. NO VISITATION.
A memorial service will be held Friday, Oct. 14, 2005, at 11 a.m. at First Congregational Church of Hudson, 47 Aurora Street, Hudson, Ohio.
Arrangements by Johnson-Romito, A Golden Rule Funeral Home, 19 E. Main Street (on the square) Hudson, Ohio (330) 650-4181. There was a private family burial at Draper Cemetery.
