Shirley Isabelle Guyton age 70 died Tuesday, April 7, in the Lower Cape Fear Hospice & Life Care Center, Whiteville, NC. Born April 4, 1945 in Horry County, she was the daughter of the late James Allen Mincey and Dolly Beatrice McDaniel Mincey.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death one sister: Virgie Marie Boone.
She is survived by one son: Melton Guyton of Virginia; one daughter: Sheryl Ann Guyton of Virginia; two sisters: Sally Ann Tyler of Loris, SC, Sarah Spivey of Whiteville, NC; three brothers: Franklin Lavern Mincey of Burgaw, NC, James A. Mincey of Norwood, NC, and John Leonard Mincey of Loris, SC; and three grandchildren.
A Graveside service will be held Thursday, April 9, 2015 at 11 AM in the Buck Creek Cemetery, Longs, SC.
