Harrison Jackson, 30, employee of the McAllen Monitor stationed at Weslaco, died Saturday morning at the home of his parents in San Saba, after a three weeks illness. Jackson, who was an advertising salesman, had worked on several papers over Texas during recent years. He has been at Weslaco since 1937. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Frances Woodward Jackson, and parents. Mr. and Mrs. John E Jackson. Also two brothers and four sisters. Funeral services will be held at San Saba Sunday afternoon.

Weslaco - The funeral of Harrison Jackson, McAllen Monitor employee, was held Sunday afternoon at San Saba following his death there at 10 a.m. Saturday. Jackson, who had been ill for many months, left three weeks ago for Temple for diagnosis.
From Temple, Jackson went to the family home at San Saba. Attending the funeral from the Valley was his wife, Frances Jackson, her mother, Mrs. Edith M. Woodward and her brother, Charles Woodward. Jackson is survived by his parents, four sisters and two brothers.
Jackson was born June 16, 1908 at San Saba and was employed by newspapers over Texas before coming to the Valley in the spring of 1937. In the Valley he did specialty advertising work for the Willacy county News at Raymondville, McAllen Press, Harlingen News and the La Feria News.
