Henry B. Holder, 78, 3211 Johnson St., who was in the grocery business here for 22 years, died at 4 a.m. Thursday in Ft. Worth.

Funeral will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Sorrells and Sons Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. George Sagan officiating. Burial will be in Forest Park Cemetery.

Mr. Holder was born June 3, 1886, in Sparta, Tenn., the son of Jim and Malinda Hutchins Holder. He was in the grocery business and was a farmer most of his life in Greenville and Hunt County.

A member of Lamar Baptist Church here, he married Hallie Bebe Dunbar in 1911. she preceded him in death on Jan. 4, 1944.

Survivors include four sons, Floyd Holder of Sherman, Robert Holder of Tyler, H.B. Holder Jr. of Grapevine and Roy Holder of Greenville; two daughters, Mrs. J.W. Elkins of Arlington and Mrs. James Rhodes of Monterrey, Calif.; four sisters, Miss Alice Holder of Greenville, Mrs. Vinnie Lowe of Greenville, Mrs. Myrtle Stover of Commerce and Mrs. Mary Sue Smith of Greenville; 15 grandchildren and other relatives.

Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
