*Daniel England and his family must have been held in high esteem of the Trimble family to have been buried in the Trimble Cemetery. Two of Daniel's daughters have the same Christian name as two of the Trimble females.
John C. Trimble's first wife was Rhoda nee Proctor. Rhoda died in June 1856. According to at least one family history researcher, Rhoda may have been a woman of color. John Trimble married the widow of Ezekiel England, Sarah. Ezekiel England is listed on an 1850 Slave Schedule for Knox County Tennessee as owning one male slave age 18. The slave is Daniel England.
