Miles Isaac Alldredge, 96, of Mesa, Arizona, died April 2, 2015, in Mesa, Arizona.

Miles Alldredge was born to Leo and Ida Alldredge on August 18, 1918. Miles married June Kimball Alldredge in 1941.

During WWII, Miles served in the US Army Air Corps where he flew a B-24 bomber with the Fifteenth Air Force, 485th Bomb Group, 831st Squadron from 1942 to 1944.

He was a revered typing and business teacher at Mesa High School and other high schools and universities for over thirty years. During much of his teaching career, Miles managed the Mesa Schools employee credit union and grew it from very few assets to a multi-million dollar institution that later became part of Desert Schools Federal Credit Union.

Miles was a former bishop of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Pine, Arizona, and served faithfully in each church assignment he was given throughout his life.

Miles and June served as missionaries at the Mormon Battalion Visitors Center in San Diego, California, from 1983 to 1985.

Miles enjoyed road trips with his family, camping, hunting, woodworking, and doing temple and family history work.

Miles was a loving and dedicated father and grandfather, and especially took delight in being surrounded by his many small great-grandchildren.

Miles is survived by his wife June Alldredge and children Tony Alldredge (Lorraine), Fay Klingler (Larry), Diana Ralphs (Michael), and Jean Smith (David). He is also survived by 26 grandchildren, 83 great-grandchildren, and his sister Ida Mae Pope.

Known for his integrity, faithfulness, and kind and loving heart, Miles will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Viewings will be held on Monday, April 6, 2015, from 6-8 p.m. at Meldrum Mortuary, 52 N. McDonald, Mesa, Arizona, and on Tuesday, April 7, 2015, from 9-10:30 a.m. at the Mesa Lehi Stake Center, 1430 N. Grand, Mesa, Arizona. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 7, 2015, at 11 a.m. at the Mesa Lehi Stake Center, 1430 N. Grand in Mesa, Arizona. Interment to follow at the Mesa Cemetery.
